There were only 12 people who took the trip so that was nice. We had to drive for about 2 hours. My first impression when we arrived at a little campsite in the middle of nowhere next to the Chilliwack river (i think) was: This is so cool!! On our way to the campsite we stopped at a supermarket to get some food for the bbq. We had the bbq above a real campfire in a big hole of stone And above that the grid. After dinner we played vollyball. And set up the tents which we got from the camping. Than we, of course, had a campfire with marshmallows. And it was really fun. The rafting guides who live on that camping for the summer also came sitting with us around the fire. And there live a lot of people from Australia on that camping. And i met a REAL canadian person there he was a rafting guide and he is descended from the Indians. The real canadian people. So that was kinda cool. Some people even slept outside and were all wet in the morning. xD We had a good breakfast and after that we had to get in a wetsuit, a lifejacket and a helmet. Than one of their yellow school busses brought us to a better place to go into the rafts. After a bunch of rules and explanations we could finally go rafting. I didn't even do the easiest course i did 'THE CANYON' course so that's with some more bouncing and more sharp waterfalls and stuff. I brought my waterproof camera with me so you'll be seeing some pictures of the rafting soon. We got stuck a lot on the stones on the bottom of the river. And some times we floated of little waterfalls and that was so cool.
I never fell out if the boat, but I did jump of a cliff though. :P
I really want to do that again some time!!!!
